Archbishop Chapelle High School will host its second St. Joseph’s Altar on Monday, March 18th from noon till 8 pm and Tuesday, March 19th from 9 am till 2:30 pm in the school gym. The altar will be adorned with thousands of Italian cookies, lucky beans, candles, flowers, and seafood. Fig designs will be displayed representing many religious symbols and items dear to the heart of the Sicilian patron saint, St. Joseph. Candles will be displayed and sold for special intentions forming a rosary in honor to our Blessed Mother. This is a unique and beautiful touch to our altar. Students, faculty, families, and friends will begin preparing food for the altar, starting with the cookies on Feb 16th and 23rd as well as March 2nd. Will will begin at 9 am in the school cafeteria. Anyone is invited to participate in making cookies or in any other way you choose to help make this altar a beautiful tribute to St. Joseph!
